HackNYU

HackNYU was a 48-hour competition hosted by NYU Students. Participants spend two days designing and coding applications, websites, or devices relating to one of the four themes or “tracks”: Inclusion, Education, Sustainability, and Health and Wellness. Professionals from various businesses mentor the participants by giving lectures and judging the numerous projects. Winning teams were given prizes for their chosen track or categories like “Best Low Code Hack” or “Best Execution of Idea.” Prizes totalled over $10,000 for participants to take home. HackNYU was a great way for students interested in tech-related industries to connect with like-minded individuals or even potential future employers.
